HDR stands for high
dynamic range.
This
is achieved by taking 3 or more photographs with different
exposures and using a hdr program to combine them together.
A good program for this is a free program called Qtpfsgui
which can be
found here:
http://qtpfsgui.sourceforge.net/download.php
